Cycle & Carriage became a subsidiary of the Jardine Matheson Group when major shareholder, Jardine Strategic Holdings, increased its stake to over 50%.

2003
Cycle & Carriage Bintang Berhad and Daimler Chrysler AG formed a joint venture company, Daimler Chrysler Malaysia Sdn Bhd (DCM) to handle the distribution of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in Malaysia.

2004
Cycle & Carriage Limited was renamed Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited following the integration into the Jardine Matheson Group in 2002. The name change recognises Cycle & Carriage's distinguished 104-year operating history and firmly establishes Jardine Cycle & Carriage as part of the Jardine Matheson Group.

Jardine Cycle & Carriage acquired a 37.4% interest in Tunas Ridean, the largest independent motor vehicle dealer in Indonesia.
 
2005
Jardine Cycle & Carriage acquired additional interest in Astra, bringing the Group's shareholding to a total of 50.1%, and Astra became a Group Subsidiary.

2006
Jardine Cycle & Carriage opened the first Mercedes-Benz Center outside of Europe in Singapore, providing customers with a wide spectrum of Mercedes-Benz services all under one roof.

Cycle & Carriage commenced distributing Citroën passenger cars and commercial vehicles in Singapore.
