1997
The Group was awarded the Audi franchise for Australia.
A new headquarters at Homebush Bay in Sydney was opened to base the motor operations in Australia.
1999
Cycle & Carriage entered a joint venture with Daimler Chrysler Services (debis) AG automotive and non-automotive financing.
The Group celebrated its 100th anniversary.
2000
The Group acquired a 31% stake in P.T. Astra International Tbk Indonesia and a 100% stake in Truck Investments Limited in New Zealand.
A partnership with a new company with Daimler Chrysler AG to handle the wholesale activities of the Mercedes-Benz operations in Singapore, where the Group became an exclusive dealer for the marque.
Cycle & Carriage commenced retailing Kia vehicles in Singapore.
