Anthony Nightingale
Chairman

Mr Nightingale was appointed Chairman in 2002, having served on the Board since 1993. He was last re-elected as a director on 29th April 2008. He is the Managing Director of Jardine Matheson, Jardine Strategic, Dairy Farm, Hongkong Land and Mandarin Oriental. He is also a commissioner of Astra and Chairman of Jardine Matheson Limited, Jardine Motors Group and Jardine Pacific.

Mr Nightingale is Chairman of the Business Facilitation Advisory Committee established by the Financial Secretary in Hong Kong, Vice President of the Real Estate Developers Association of Hong Kong and a Hong Kong representative to the APEC Business Advisory Council. He is also a Justice of Peace, a non-official member of the Commission on Strategic Development, a council member of the Employers’ Federation of Hong Kong and the Chairman of The Sailors Home and Missions to Seamen. Mr Nightingale holds a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Classics from Peterhouse, Cambridge.
