Accounts Assistant (Corporate Affairs - Alexandra)

Reporting to the Manager, you will perform accounting functions and reconciliations to ensure compliance with prescribed accounting policy and procedures. This will include the following:
1. Managing general ledger accounting using ACCPAC A/cg software (DOS version) to generate full set of monthly accounts
2. Preparing management accounts, standard tax invoices, debit notes, credit notes, statements and aging reports
3. Bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and handling of petty cash
4. Processing of invoices and cheques
5. Preparing quarterly GST returns
6. Other accounting duties such as banking, preparing budget and audit schedules
7. Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements
•  Diploma / LCCI higher level accounting or equivalent
•  Minimum 2 years of working experience in Accounting
•  A good team player with a positive attitude towards learning
•  Responsible and meticulous
•  Proficient Microsoft applications (in particularly Excel) and familiarity in ACCPAC accounting system
